Ragheb Alama enters the business world

Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama is seriously thinking of trying his luck in the business world and opening his own company. Ragheb did not reveal any details regarding the nature of his new business but stated that he is hopeful that his attempts at being a businessman will be as successful as his career as a singer.

According to the London based Al Sharq Al Awsat, Ragheb added that once he is ready to give out more details about his new company he will do so, but for the time being he prefers to keep a tight lid on things. Aside from his new path, Ragheb is currently looking for a female singer to participate in a new duet with him, but he stressed that the singer cannot be one who is already known. Ragheb expressed that he feels a sense of joy when he introduces a new singer to the world and that is why who ever is chosen to sing with him will be chosen based on his condition.

Alama has very recently returned to his singing career, after he had taken some time off after undergoing surgery and surviving a car accident. After the two incidents, the singer had felt that it he was in desperate need of time off to relax and regain his strength. Ragheb's first big event was during the Egyptian spring festival Sham Al Nasim, where the singer held a live concert in celebration of the big event.

The singer is also preparing to take on another journey to Canada where he will hold several concerts in different areas to the Arab population residing there. Ragheb has expressed that he is glad to have returned to his career saying that will away, he had realized that singing is the only medicine that can heal any wounds he has.

On a different note, Ragheb has also decided to enter the world of acting. After the singer expressed his willingness to act if he is offered a good role in a film, countless movie scripts began to flood in. He is currently looking through the many offers he has received so far in the hope of finding a suitable role in a film that would best suit him. Most of the film scripts that have come into Ragheb's hands revolve around a romantic and musical theme. Ragheb's new decision makes him the latest singer who has decided to add to his singing talents by acquiring an acting career as well.

Through a miracle from God, Alama survived a reckless car accident that could have cost him to loose his life late last month. While driving down one of Beirut's crowded roads, the singer was hit severely by another car from the back, which badly injured the two men accompanying him. –Albawaba.com
