Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama will appear as the guest of honor in a celebrity race in Bahrain on March 10, announced at a recent Beirut press conference.
The real competition will take place the following day, featuring the internationally renowned “Formula 1” race car.
Ragheb will be participating alongside German tennis champion Boris Baker, American cyclist Lance Armstrong, and many other celebrities from around the world, according to the London based Elaph.
On a different note, Egyptian director Sharif Sabri has confirmed that he will produce a new film starring Ragheb. Sabri would not reveal the nature of the film, stating that he welcomes Ragheb’s decision to make his debut on the big screen.
Sabri also stated that there is a possibility that he may direct a music video for Ragheb.
The new project comes at the same time that Ragheb has finally reconciled with Muhsin Jaber, owner of the production company ‘Alam El Phan,’ who will produce the new film.
