Moroccan singer Raja' Bil Maleeh started her career after wining a beginners talent competition in Morocco, leading composers to compete to adopt her and launch her career in the world of singing. Raja' was absent for the past year because of her illness, but is not trying to make her way to return to her career and the love of her life.
Raja' revealed that shortly after she delivered her son Omar, she was diagnosed with cancer and started her fight with the disease. She says that now she is much better and she finished the primary stages and she is recovering now.
With regards to her fans Raja' said that all her fans and her colleagues were asking about her during her stay in Paris and after she came back to Morocco. She stressed that she felt the love all around her, the thing that enabled her to fight the disease and lift her spirits.
About her career, Raja' said that her upcoming album will be in the Khaligi (Gulf) accent where she cooperated with many brilliant poets and composers. Raja' is going to film one or two songs in the form of video clips because as she says this contributes a great deal in making the album heard by fans.
A new duet idea is being negotiated between Raja' and Syrian singer Asalah Nasri, and they are currently looking for the right words and tune. Raja' promised to come back stronger than before after wining her fight with cancer.
The entertainment world was in shocked when it discovered that Raja’ was suffering from breast cancer and urgently had to go to France to undergo treatment. Raja underwent intensive medical care for the treatment of breast cancer, after being diagnosed with the illness and had a surgery at the American-French hospital in France to remove the cancerous tumors. While undergoing treatment, Raja had refrained from any contact with the media wanting her focus to be mainly on becoming well and return home.
Raja announced that she has no plans of quitting her career as a singer and intends on continuing her journey once her health condition allows it. She stressed that singing is a big part of her life, which she cannot live without, and the though of leaving it never crossed her mind.
The singer began having pains in her chest after she delivered her son Omar. Raja went on a medical trip to France with her husband to undergo several tests and was then advised to begin chemical treatment. At which point, the singer moved her residence from Cairo to Paris, leaving her newborn with her mother, in order to start her treatment of the illness. -Albawaba.com
