It looks like it’s going to be another lucrative year for Egypt’s series industry, whereby various great names are playing brand new roles in brand new series.
According to Al Akhbar newspaper, a summary of each role to be portrayed is already available and here it is!
Athar El Hakim: Plays the character of ‘D. Siham’ in Firar Min Al Hub (Fleeing From Love), whereby she is a Sa’idi woman who immigrates with her father from a very young age to Alexandria. After his death, Athar decides to go back to her village with her mother in order to ask for her rightful inheritance.

Yusra: Plays the character of an employee in an investment company who meets a police officer, played by actor Hisham Abdul Hamid after he saves her from the wrath of some criminals. She falls inlove at first sight and they get married. However, after giving birth to their first child, the young boy is kidnapped by the selfsame criminals who tried to hurt the mom.

Faten Hamama: Plays the character of ‘Ibtisam Al Huwari’ in Wajh El Qamar (Face of the Moon), alongside actor Ahmad Ramzi who plays her husband in the series. Ramzi, is an ex-arms dealer while Hamama is the head of a sattelite station who tries to discuss the political, economic and social issues of the Arab world through her various shows.
