Ramy Ayach proved he has a way with words on "The Accused"
Lebanese pop star Ramy Ayach was the latest celebrity accused on the weekly program "Al Mutaham" (The Accused) hosted by Rudolph Hilal and Raja Naser Al Din on the Lebanese network LBC. At the beginning of the episode, Ramy stated that he considers himself a singer and not a performer because what he brings is true music that touches the essence of those who listen to him.
According to Bitjarod.com, Ramy said that he is against having the resigned Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker be convicted with a death sentence unless there is a logical reason for it. He added that the decision to place Fadel on death row is to be taken by the Lebanese government, but he prayed that Fadel would come out of his dilemma alive and return to the right path in his life.
Ramy dished about his participation in the past season of the popular talent show "Arab Idol" as guest of honor and thanked Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram and UAE singer Ahlam for their warm welcome. While he loved presenting a memorable performance for his peeps, he's not into becoming a talent show judge. It's certainly a trend, but he's not interested in following it!
Ramy also talked about how he refuses to allow anyone to question his nationality and love for Lebanon, in answer to remarks made by legendary Lebanese singer Milhim Barakat who called Ramy a traitor for singing in the Egyptian dialect.
Oh, and he denied all drama rumor between him and Maya Diab. Their duet "Sawa" (Together) achieved more popularity than the song he had sung with Lebanese diva Haifa Wehbe.
He's a big name and has friends among his fellow celebrities. He shared that he had made sure to show at Haifa's "Halawet Rouh" premiere, it was his duty as a friend, and his a-list pal Assi Helani was among the first people who gave their condolences when his mother died.
During the accusation segment of the program, Ramy only spoke highly of his colleagues Ragheb Alama, Tamer Hosny, Milhim Barakat, Ahlam, Wael Kfoury, and Simone Asmar. He's one classy dude with nothing to prove.
As the episode came to an end, the superstar was applauded for his smart wit and way with words.
