Rania Al Kurdi delivers her first child

Jordanian singer/television announcer Rania Al Kurdi gave birth to healthy baby boy on April 14, 2005 at a private hospital in Amman Jordan, Rania’s home country. The singer and her husband named their baby “Sharif Rayan”, and the small family will remain in Jordan for relaxation.

 

Rania has completed shooting the final scenes of her upcoming film “Al Hasa Al Sab’a” (The Seventh Sense), through which she will enter the cinema for the first time in her life. Rania revealed that she has very high hopes that the film, which is scheduled for screening during the summer season, will be a great success due to the manner it was filmed in.

 

The film is about a shy kung fu player who knows nothing about woman discovers that he has a seventh sense. He discovers that he could read his competitors’ minds. Then it develops to reading the mind of those that comes his way. This will lead him into trouble with everyone around him. The film develops into a police/comedy film. Rania plays the female leading role in alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Fishawi and other well known Egyptian actors.


Rania had recently announced that she will no longer host the popular television show Superstar, after having participated in it for the past two successful seasons. The singer added that she will not be presenting any television programs and will dedicate all her time to her singing and acting career.
