The high profile divorce of of feuding former-couple Rania Yousif and Karim Al Shabrawi became even more bitter this week when it was revealed that Karim is suing the Egyptian actress for a reported 22 million Egyptian pounds.
The star made a number of shocking accusations against her former spouse in recent TV interviews relating to drug use, theft, and even death threats. Now, after weeks of silence from Karim's camp, it seems that he has finally decided to let his lawyers do the talking for him in the shape of 11 lawsuits against the actress - one for each of the claims made against him.
Sameer Sabri, the lawyer behind this dramatic move, released a press release explaining that the lawsuits deal with the 'insulting accusations' he claims have ruined Karim's public image. He went on to say that Rania has not backed up any of her accusations with any evidence.
It looks like if Rania can't come up with the proof soon, she might be forced to dig deep into her designer pockets for the hefty settlement.
