Jordanian singer/actress Rania Al Kurdi is five or six months pregnant according to reliable sources. She is trying her first major role in the film, "Al Hasah Al Sab’a" (The Seventh Sense), which Rania will play the female leading role in alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Fishawi and other well known Egyptian actors.
Rania who is residing in Egypt for now has tried her best to hide her pregnancy until it started to show.
Rania had recently announced that she will no longer host the popular television show Superstar, after having participated in it for the past two successful seasons. The singer added that she will not be presenting any television programs and will dedicate all her time to her singing and acting career.
Rania made her announcement of not being a part of Superstar during a celebration held for the cast of her upcoming film "The Seventh Sense" in Cairo, which will mark her first leading role in the cinema alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Al Fishawi.
The film is about a shy kung fu player who knows nothing about woman discovers that he has a seventh sense. He discovers that he could read his competitors’ minds. Then it develops to reading the mind of those that comes his way. This will lead him into trouble with everyone around him. The film develops into a police/comedy film.
Rania revealed that being a television presenter was just a temporary phase and her real passion is her singing career, and the film is just a new challenge for her to test her ability in the acting world.
Rania revealed that if she went on with Superstar for a third season that will make all her fans look at her from that dimension only. Therefore, she left the job to be hosted by Miss Egypt Hiba Al Sabsabi.
