The famous Lebanese television host and now singer/ actress Razan Al Maghribi was shocked after she was fired from taking a role in the new television drama series “Hawaket Boat” , which was a decision made by the director Ahmad Al Badri.

Al Badri made his decision after a new regulation passed by Ashraf Zaki, head of the Egyptian Artist Association, stating that one permit is given for a non-Egyptian actor or actress annually to star in an Egyptian drama. Razan had gotten permission to star in another drama series “Ada Al Nahar”; therefore, she can’t use that permit for second drama series.

Razan was upset and sad to hear of the new decision especially because she filmed 10 episodes from the new series. Close sources said that Razan fainted when she heard the news and that she left to Beirut in order to come out of her depression period which she faced after being fired.

Egyptian actress Abeer Sabri took Razan’s place in the new series “Hawaket Boat” and she had asked to have some changes made in her role in order to suit her more. The new series will star Hala Fakher, Isam Karika and a number of other famous actors that will be as guests of honor on the series.
