Razan Moghrabi comes to terms with her voice
After a two-year dream, well-known MBC TV presenter, Razan Moghrabi is finally harboring her dream of adding a singer career to her portfolio, by putting the last touches on her upcoming music album, marking her first step into the music world.
The daily Riyadh newspaper reported in its Tuesday issue that Moghrabi has recently held a press conference at Music Master’s headquarter in Lebanon, announcing her soon-to-be released album. “The style of music I picked for my album reflects my character. It addresses all ages with nice and easy music,” Moghrabi said about the album, refusing to sing any of her new songs.
“Singing is not new for me, I used to sing in my school’s parties and festivals… but hating my voice, I headed to presenting programs,” Moghrabi explained in response to one of the question asking her for the motives that drove her to enter the music word. “I got encouragement from all poets and composers around me, and so I decided to finally take the step and become a singer,” she added.
Earlier this month, Moughrabi has started shooting a music video for her new song “Dihk ou Li’b” (Fun and Play), with Lebanese director Shadi Hanna. The video is expected to put Razan in a new image taking her on a trip through space.
Razan, holding a degree in Communication Arts from LAU in Lebanon, has joined MBC six years ago after a successful three-and-a-half year career at the Lebanese Future TV. – Albawaba.com
