Lebanese artist Rida Botros has left Lebanon to travel to Mexico for a summer vacation with her family and her sister Nina. Nina retired from singing after she was married.
Rida will then head to America to visit her and nieces nephews.
After her vacation she will return to Lebanon to record a new solo single instead of an album, since her solo singles have been more successful. Rida pays for the production of her own songs, since she is not attached to a production company.
She believes that her singing is a hobby and not a career.
According to the London daily Elaph, Rida was supposed to start filming the television drama series “Bab Al Harah” (The Town’s Door) third season, but she did not like the role that she was given and declined.
Rumors claim that Rida may become a television co-host for a new entertainment show.
