Lebanese singer Rida Boutrus publicly announced her separation from the production company Three Music, after a five year contract with the company.

Rida explained that the separation was amenable, and that she still is on excellent terms with owner Nasr Mahrous.

Rida has now signed with the company Production,  owned by Faten Barazi, and the same company that produces music for Lebanese singer Katia Harb.

Rida is scheduled to release a new album in July. She postponed the release of the album for some time due to the political climate in Lebanon, after the tragic assassination of former Lebanese PM Rafiq Al Hariri.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Rida worked intensely on the album, after Sony produced her first solo album. Previously, Rida was part of a duo with her sister Nina, who has since left the music industry to become a full time mother.
