After her recent hit Mustafa Ya Mustafa, Lebanese singer Rida Butros is preparing to release her new single Qalbi Majnoonak (My Heart’s Crazy for You), according to the London-based daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
The song was written by Tony Abi Karam and composed by Tareq Abu Joudah, and remade by Naser Al Asaad. Recording took place at Tony Saba Studios.
Rida is going to leave for Cairo next week to meet a number of Egyptian composers, among them Hamid Al Shairi, to choose a song for her new album.
The musician, who stopped singing for two months because of her father’s death, will return with this album as a solo project. Rida previously sang duets with her sister Nina, who has abandoned her singing career and moved to live in US with her husband – Albawaba.com
