Study hard, act hard. That's the current motto for Riham Abdel Ghafour. She may be Egyptian, but she certainly won't sound like it for her upcoming part in the Ramadan drama "Tufahat Adam" (Adam's Apple).
The young actress is getting her study on, taking intense private lessons in the Syrian dialect, so she can sound the part of a Syrian nanny.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the production company "Al Adel Group" had insisted on bringing a private Syrian tutor to give Riham lessons to master the difficult dialect before beginning to film her scenes.
The tutor will also accompany Riham during the filming of her scenes to ensure that she has mastered the Syrian dialect and plays perfectly the part written by Mohammad Al Hinawi.
Director of the drama Ali Idris is currently in the process of casting some new faces to coincide with Riham's on the show's 30 episodes starring Egyptian actor Khaled Al Sawi, Riham, Bushra, Sami Al Adel, Zaki Fatin Abdel Wahab, Hayatim, Hanan Sulayman and others.
