Lebanese singer Nawal El Zoughbi revealed that she her summer concert schedule is already full and she will be holding many concerts in Lebanon, Egypt, and Europe. However, for now she is having two promotional concerts for her new album the first one will be in Egypt on 30th of June and the second will be in Beirut on 10th of July.
Nawal revealed that she will not take part in the summer festivals in the Arab world like Jarash and Carthage. The singer revealed that Rotana Music Production Company dominates these festivals and it is a rare possibility for her to be invited because she is not one of Rotana’s members. Nawal noted that she would be very happy if she was invited to participate in Be’albek and Beit El Din festivals in Lebanon.
Nawal has finally released her new album entitled “3eineik Kazabeen” (Lying Eyes), after two-year absence. The album had been postponed for many times and for many reasons, but Nawal kept saying that it will be a nice surprise to her fans after a long absence. The album was really a surprise to all fans and critics with its outstanding songs and music.
According to London based Elaph the album is already leading the music album sales in the Arab world after the first week of its release. Nawal commented that this album came as a change and a mix between all styles that her fans loved.
"I had more than one style in this album, you can notice the song [Sama7] done in a Turkish tune, and the song [Ana Biddi 3eesh] done with a Lebanese style, and also the songs [Maleit, Tijma3na al-sa3at] are done in and Egyptian style." Nawal revealed.
Nawal stressed that despite the obvious difference in her last album, but still her personality and touch had not changed, and that she only took her time to choose the right words and tunes that would express her voices beauty.
Nawal's new album is sponsored by Pepsi and there are several parities expected to take place in different Arab countries. The Main song in the new album will be filmed as a video clip and will be directed by Saleem Turk.
Nawal revealed that her biggest fear is not being able to do something she loves because of sickness. She added that she had been suffering a down fall in her health condition lately and that brought her closer to god and she felt more religious. -Albawaba.com
