Ruby prepares for strong comeback

Controversial Egyptian singer Ruby is about to return to the spotlight after a year long absence, according to her business manager Egyptian producer and director Sharif Sabri.

According to the London based Elaph, Sharif said Ruby’s album will be ready for release in the coming weeks and he intends on filming new music videos for all eight songs on the album. Ruby has already headed to Sharm El Sheikh to film the first video for the song “Al Mani Khair,” also the album title.

Sharif explained that Ruby’s absence was due to her preoccupation with her final year studying at the university where she is earning her bachelor’s degree.

After succeeding as a singer and an actor, Ruby has decided to enter the world of fashion, recently signing a contract with an Italian company that specializes in swimsuits.

Ruby is said to have received 1.5 million US dollars for modeling the company’s line. The advertisements will be shown in Lebanon and across the Arab world.
