Rula moves to Egypt
After she finished filming the film “Al Ghorfa 707” (Room 707), Lebanese singer/actress Rula Saed headed back to Beirut to bring her sister Zeena’s two kids to stay with their mother after she was in an accident.
According to the London daily Elaph, Rula had rented an apartment in Cairo, since she was filming the scenes of the film and had to reside on a temporary basis. Her sister Zeena had a bad accident, where she was asked by the doctor to stay in bed for four months. This meant hat Zeena couldn’t go back to Beirut; therefore, Rula had to bring the kids and her own mother to Cairo to take care of Zeena.
On the other side Rula is getting ready to read a new script for another movie, where she’ll be playing the role of a blind girl. Rula is showing interest in the role, because it will help her bring out real emotions.
Away from acting Rula has chosen the song “Kol Al Gharam” (All The Love) to film as a video clip. She will be filming the new clip in Egypt in the first week of Ramadan.
Rula has recently returned back from Syria after she had a successful concert at the Qal’ah Festival. The interaction of her Syrian fans with her songs was seen widely during her concert. Rula’s concert comes at a time where a number mainly Lebanese female singers are being banned from singing on Syrian grounds. Rula has proven herself to be a successful singer who has the ability and the voice to sing.
Rula will be having a live concert at the Mono Street in Lebanon. The street has been very quiet throughout the summer, because of the unstable conditions in Lebanon.
