During a recent visit Syrian singer Ruwaida Attieh made to Cairo, she took part in the Fourteenth Annual Cinema Festival performing alongside the Syrian band ‘Ananna.' During the event Ruwaida performed a song “Allah Hameeki” (God Protect You) especially for the occasion.
According to the London based Elaph, Ruwaida plans on filming the song as a music video.
Ruwaida is scheduled to head off to Oman on November 27 to participate in Independence Day celebrations and will give a special performance for the occasion.
At the beginning of December Ruwaida will return to Cairo to film a new music video for the song “Jurohi” (My Wounds) with director Jameel Al Maghazi.
Ruwaida’s third album, "Khisamak Mur" (Ignoring you is sour) was released during the Muslim Holiday Eid El Fitr under the production of Shams Music Production.
Ruwaida is scheduled to hold New Years Eve performances in Tunisia.
