Ruwaida Attieh heads to Cairo

After the satellite music channel Melody began airing the new clip "Ala Almani" for rising Syrian singer Ruwaida Attieh, the singer announced that she will head to Cairo to film the second clip for her second album.
Ruwaida will be filming the clip for the song "Juruhi" (My Wounds) under the direction of Jameel Al Maghazi, marking their first cooperation together. The clip will air on different music channels.
Ruwaida’s third album, "Khisamak Mur" (Ignoring you is sour) is scheduled for release during the Muslim Holiday Eid El Fitr under the production of Shams Music Production.
Ruwaida is also preparing for her tour around Canada and the United States. The nearly month long tour, her first outside the Arab world, is scheduled to be launched in mid-November.
Upon her return the singer will head to Tunisia, where she is scheduled to hold New Years Eve performances.
Ruwaida revealed that her new album will feature a variety of songs sung in the Egyptian, Lebanese, Syrian and Gulf dialects. She worked with a number of prominent composers, including Salah Al Sharnoubi on the album, and described working with him as " a dream come true."
