Prominent Lebanese diva Sabah shockingly announced on one of lebanon’s local radio stations that the only dream she has left is that of dying. The radio announcer asked the singer “What is the one thing you have not accomplished throughout your life and is your dream?” Sabah simply replied that she had tried everything in her life and the only thing left is death stressing that she dreams of what it is like to be dead and what the afterlife has in store for her.
According to the London based daily, Al Hayah, the announcer was in shock when she heard Sabah’s answer and her voice became shaky and embarrassed as she wished the singer a long life. Despite Sabah’s wish of death, she revealed that she stills intends on getting a facelift, but adding that doctors orders have prohibited such operations for her in the meantime. One of the singer’s doctors had warned her that another operation to her face would definitely lead to deformity.
The singer is currently residing in the United States, and confirmed the news of her separation from former Mr. Lebanon Amr Mihio, whom she was engaged to for several months. Sabah revealed that she has decided to call of the engagement due to the age difference between them, saying that despite the fact that she truly loved him for his gentleness and kindness.
Sabah stressed that her relationship with Amr was special, but the age difference kept creating tension and uneasiness for her. Sabah added that she gave her niece instructions to place food poison in her meals if she ever again thought of falling in love or getting married.
Sabah’s sudden decision comes as a surprise to everyone, especially since she has been preparing for her wedding date for the longest time and had in fact decided to hold it on her 90th birthday. She had been very precise about every single detail regarding the wedding wanting her big day to be unforgettable.
The singer had even made it a point to make a number of visits to different doctors wanting to make sure getting married would not affect her in any way. The first doctor she had visited was her orthopedic doctor who advised Sabah to undergo physiotherapy at least twice every week. – Albawaba.com
