Sabbah guest of honor on the last episode of Star Club

Participants of the Lebanese TV Program Star Club welcomed Lebanese singing legend Sabah and expressed their deepest feelings of appreciation to her for coming to the last episode of the program. Sabah from her side was overwhelmed with the warm welcome of her fans.  

 

Guests of the program were Lilian Andrews and Josef Gareeb. The two participants Mohammed Faisal from Jordan and Sumaia Merisni from Tunisia started the night by singing [Zai Al-Asal] meanwhile the Lebanese participant Shadi Aidamoni sang a song for Wadee' Al-Safi. Iraqi participant sang for Kathem Al-Saher [Hal 3indaki Shak]. 

 

The two participants Nofal Tanous and Shadi Aidamoni sang one of Sabbah's songs entitled [Akhado Elreeh]. Mohammed Hammadi from Bahrain sang a song entitled [Rouhi Shoufi] for Melhim Barakat. 

 

Both Hamam Ibrahim from Iraq and Mohammed Hammadi from Bahrain sang a famous song of Sabbah's entitled [Yana Yana] and Sabbah joined them in singing. The Tunisian participant Sumaia Merisni sang [Mistaniyak] for Aziza Galal. At the end of the episode the participant from Bahrain Mohammed Hamadi was excluded because he came last in the voting. 

 

Recently, the Egyptian embassy in Beirut held a big reception for the 52nd memory of the 23rd of July revolution. Important figures, political officials and stars from the Lebanese society attended the reception in addition to the Egyptian community in Lebanon. 

 

One of the main highlights of the big event was a special performance by Sabah, who captivated the audience with her voice. Many other prominent artists took part in the celebration like legendary Lebanese singer Wade' Al-Safi, Najah Sallam, and Nihad Tarabeh. 

 

Sabah has recently joined numerous artists and politicians in Lebanon and the Arab world through a new silicon-made statue that holds the number 50 in Ga’eita museum. The museum, located in Beirut, contains many statues of celebrities from Lebanon and the Arab world. The new statue of Sabah has been designed and programmed to sing one of Sabah’s famous songs for sixty seconds.  

 

Sabah's replica statue was dressed in one of her genuine dresses. The blue dress was given to the museum by Sabah who said she wore that dress in on of Be'albak festivals. In addition to the statue of Sabah, the museum contains many celebrity personalities like president of Lebanon, king of Jordan, Egyptian president, George Bush, Bill Clinton and many others. – Albawaba.com
