Saber Ribaa'i to release new album with Alam El Phan
In the upcoming days, Tunisian singer Saber Al Rubaa’i announced that he will release his latest album under his new music production company Alam El Phan. The singer has delayed his release several times due to different reasons like his constant travel to hold concerts and in addition to the US-led war on Iraq.
According to the London based Elaph, Saber has recently joined Alam El Phan and plans on filming one of his new songs in the form of a video clip in Beirut under the direction of Said Al Marouk. His new album will feature different styles combining the Tunisian folklore to different styles of the Arab world.
Saber revealed that most of the words for his new songs revolve around issues that are very sensitive and are sung for the first time. He has worked with many prominent composers and poets for he wants his new album to find a huge success as did his previous ones.
Saber is nearing the completion of recording the songs for his upcoming album. Some of the songs that are included in the album are "Fainak ya U’mri" (Where are you my dear), "Wo ma As’abshi Alaik" (Don’t you feel for me), and "Baligh I’tithari" (Tell of my Apology) written by poets Mohammad Dia’, Hamdi Sadiq, and others. Saber has not yet chosen a name for the album as of yet.
Al Ruba’ai said that he plans to come out with a new look and style that will captivate his fans. His new album is a collection of romantic songs that will show Saber in a new light.
His previous albums’ lyrics express a wide range of emotions, from understanding to anger and hurt, it's the versatility of Rebaa’i’s voice that makes his songs touching and even thought provoking.
What makes his albums especially successful is how well the songs flow into one another. His soothing voice makes his listeners listen to him without fast-forwarding a single track. Not only are the words he sings beautiful but also the poignant way he expresses them captivates his listeners. – Albawaba.com
