Saber Ribaee joins the stars of Olympia

Tunisian singer Saber Ribaee will become the first Arab singer from his generation to perform on the legendary stage of Olympia. Other Arab singers who performed on Olympia were late Egyptians Umm Kalthoum and Abdul Halim Hafez.
Ali Al Mawla, Saber’s business manager, announced that the performance will take place in France on February 7.
On different note, Saber was recently in the United States of America, where he held a New Year’s Eve concert in Detroit Michigan, which drew a massive crowd of local Arab fans.
Upon his return from the US, Saber is due back in Lebanon to film a new music video and to finish recording the songs for his upcoming album.
Saber held a memorable performance, organized by the Tunisian Bassma Handicapped Foundation at the Carthage Theater in Tunisia.
Saber stated he was “honored to sing at such a historical theater.”
All of the proceeds from the concert went directly to the Handicapped Foundation.
Saber’s concert caused the administration of the 41st Carthage Festival to reconsider their decision not to include him in this year’s event. Rumors claimed the singer was overlooked since he does not have any new releases on the market, which Saber denied.
