After a long sabbatical, the renowned Egyptian comedy star, Said Saleh, will stand on the stage again in his musical comedy show “Allibro” where he will act, sing and perform interpretive dance along with the comedy star Mohammed Mahmoud and pop singing star Hasan al Asmar.

The play was written by Malhah Abdulla and directed by Ashraf Azab.

The play tackles an important phenomenon in the society, which has recently plagued it with many paradoxes. Many people with many faces masquerade behind other characters when they deal with others particularly when it comes to money and deals.

The play composer, Ashraf al Dalgawi says, “the play includes six music shows through which I blended the eastern cadences with the western ones in addition to dialogue statements spreading throughout it. This has been wrapped up through continuous business rounds held with the show designer Ahmed Yunes in order to achieve some sort of harmony between the music and interpretive visions.”—Albawaba.com
