Egyptian actor Salah Al Saadani will star along with his son Ahmed in the new TV series Ragol Men Zaman Al Awlama (Man from the Time of Globalization), according to the Arabic daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Costarring in the series are Mamdouh Wafi, Zizi Al Badrawi, Nisreen Saad Eddin, and Enji Sharaf, as well as Mahmoud Abdel Aziz’s son, Karim.
Director Essam Al Shamaa started shooting the series a few days ago with a budget of two millions pounds. The series is produced by the Egyptian TV production department.
The episodes, which are scheduled to be screened next Ramadan, depict social, political an economic developments starting from the late 20th century up until the beginning of the current century, and the changes' effects on the lives of people from different generations – Albawaba.com
