Salma Hayek the resistance fighter

Latino lovely Salma Hayek is set to play a hardened Algerian activist in her upcoming movie about the life of the resistance fighter.
Hayek will be playing Lalla Fadhma, known as the Joan of Arc of Djudura for her part in the Algerian resistance movement.
The Hollywood actress is known for her eclectic choice of roles, having played everything from a bi-sexual modern art legend to the wife of an assassin in Once Upon a Time in Mexico. But Lalla Fadhma is still an unusual choice.
The movie, directed by Algerian Rashid Bin Haj is budgeted at 40 million dollars and will be shot in Algeria, France and Qatar. There are rumors that Omar Sharif and the granddaughters of Fadhma will also be involved.
Fadma was 24 when French troops invaded the country and she took to the mountains to defend her land. In 1857 she was captured and died in prison six years later.
What do you think about Salma's choice of role? Tell us below.

If Salma Hayek wants people to know about what strong women do in their lives, then she should start being stronger at home. Why doesn't she get a divorce from her disgusting stupid billionaire pig deadbeat dad husband as soon as possible? Her husband Francois-Henri Pinault lacks good morals because he abandoned his son with Linda Evangelista. That would be the best feminist act that Salma Hayek can do right now since Salma Hayek has claimed to be a feminist and she has done lots of charity work for women and children for many years. Please tell me what kind of a feminist gets married to a deadbeat dad when deadbeat dads hurt their own children. Of course, it would have been better if both Salma Hayek and Linda Evangelista had never even met Francois-Henri Pinault.
