Samir Ghanem Probes Underworld of the Internet

Samir Ghanem, famous for his sidesplitting roles in comedies, is preparing a new play, Lusus Walaken Ulama (Thieves, But Also Scientists), according to the Qatari daily Al Raya.  

The play, to be staged next winter, deals with the negative impact of the Internet, such as its criminal applications and abuse by the younger generation.  

Ghanem is also getting ready to leave for the US to perform in the play Ana Wamrati wa Monica (Myself, My Wife and Monica). Lebanese actress Jihan Qamari will take the starring role, filling in for Nermin Alfaki, who cannot travel with the cast because of a prior commitment to appear in a TV series – Albawaba.com
