Samira Ahmad travels to Iraq to save her son
Famous Egyptian actress Samira Ahmad who was absent from last Ramadan’s drama series, where in the past Ramadan seasons she became a regular, began filming the scenes for her new drama series. Samira Ahmad is starring in the new drama series called “Jidar Al Qalab” (The Walls of the Heart) that is written by Ahmad Abed Al Rahman and directed by Ahmad Saqer.
Alongside Samira Ahmad there will be a number of other famous actors joining her like: Samir Sabri, Mustafa Fahmi, Mahmoud Qabeel, Tareq Lutfi, Ahmad Zaher, Abeer Sabri and Muna Fadali. The filming of the new drama will take place between Cairo and Dubai.
According to the London daily Elaph, Samira Ahmad is very pleased to take part in the new series, where she considered it as an important step in her acting career. In “Jidar Al Qalab” Samira Ahmad plays the role of Dr. Karima who is well-known in her community and helps many people around her. She is a widow and was left with a son and a daughter who were very young when their father died.
She is very friendly and nice to everyone around her. Her son who works in Iraq faces a major problem where she travels to Iraq to look for him. The new series will be aired on television during the next holy month of Ramadan.
Samira Ahmad revealed that what attracted her to the new drama series was the fact that the storyline of the series is very close to real life.
