Severe cold forces Nawal Al Zoughbi to remain in bed

The recent hectic schedule Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi has had from holding concerts around the Arab world has ended in the singer catching a severe cold leading her to remain in bed. Doctors have ordered the singer to remain home and refrain from holding any entertaining activities until she regains her health.

 

The singer is scheduled to head to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />United States of America and Canada at the end of February, where she is scheduled to hold a tour. The singer added that her tour will last for a month-and-a-half and she will be performing in a number of cities around Northern America.

 

 

Recently, Nawal announced that she has not insulted Kuwaitis in any way and sees no need to apologize. The singer’s statement came in an interview in Kuwait during her participation in the Hello February Festival, and after she was attacked of betraying Kuwaitis by holding a concert in Iraq during the reign of former President Saddam Hussein

 

The singer stressed that her performances in Iraq were based on the request of Iraqi citizens and not the government, and that she does not differentiate fans based on their nationalities and does not hold an entire nation responsible for the actions of its ruler. The singer added that the media for the wrong reasons misinterpreted her performance in Iraq.
