Sha’baan Abd al Raheem runs for President

Egyptian folk singer Sha’baan Abd al Raheem announced that he is preparing to take part a new film “Sha’bula huwa al hal” (Sha’bula is the solution), about a folk singer who runs for President and wins the election.

According to the London based Elaph, the singer recently held a press conference to reveal some of the highlights of the new film. Sha’baan said that after winning the Presidency his character turns the country into a new place, governing with a different style.

Sha’baan denied rumors that the film is a replica of the film “ThaTha”, released three years ago, starring Egyptian comedian actor Hani Ramzi.
