Shabaan Abdul Rahim condemns Israeli bombarding of Lebanon

It has become customary for Egyptian folk-singer Shabaan Abdul Rahim to release a song during times of crisis in the region, and he has created a new song expressing his outrage over the ongoing Israeli attacks that are destroying Lebanon.
The singer completed recording the song in which he calls on the Israeli Prime Minister, who has given the green light for the Israeli army to destroy Lebanon, to stop these atrocities immediately.
The song was written by Shabaan’s personal composer Islam Khalil and he will release a music video that he will personally direct.
According to the London based Elaph, the clip will show images of the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the ensuing destruction.
Recently Shabaan released a song about the bird flu epidemic that broke out in the region. The song drew the attention of Egyptian officials who believe it may prove to be an important tool for raising awareness amongst Egyptians about taking the necessary precautions against the virus.
