Sharif Sabri looking for replicas of Ruby
Egyptian director Sharif Sabri, who discovered Egyptian singing sensation Ruby, is currently looking for new young female Egyptian television broadcasters who enjoy certain characteristics for the new television satellite channel Infinity, which is a new channel and will be launched officially in October. Sharif set a number of conditions for anyone wishing to apply in order to eliminate too many applicants from submitting their requests.
Some of the main conditions was that no one over the age of 25 years will be accepted and that she must be able to speak both English and French as well as Arabic. Only five applicants will be accepted in the initial stages of launching the channel and Sharif has taken on the responsibility of making it a success. Sharif will be in charge of the channel’s Egypt office, where the main headquarters are in the Dubai Media City, reported the London based Elaph.
Ruby is preparing to film a new video clip for the song “Ibka Kabilni” (Keep Meeting Me), which is one of the songs in her first album that was released earlier this month. The new clip will be directed by Sherif, Ruby’s business manager, and filming will begin within the upcoming few days in Egypt. Sabri stated that Ruby will have a new look and a new style that is totally different than her fans are used to. Sabri refused to give out any further details regarding the clip wanting it to be a surprise for everyone.
Sabri is rushing to have the video clip ready as soon as possible because Infinity channel will broadcast the clip exclusively. It has been revealed that Sabri owns shares in the new channel and will hold a special launching ceremony in Dubai, where Ruby is also scheduled to participate. Ruby's clip will be the first exclusive one to be broadcasted on this channel in an attempt to gather as much viewers as possible for the newly established channel. –Albawaba.com
