After returning from France, the actress headed to Saudi Arabia to spend New Years Eve in the holy lands and performed the religious pilgrimage Umra.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, spending New Years in the holy lands has become a tradition with Sharihan, which she has been doing for the past five years. Sharihan’s family along with the medical team supervising her condition accompanied her to the pilgrimage.
Recently, director Ali Rajab’s attempted to convince Sharihan in turning her life’s journey into a movie, starting with her early beginnings as an actress until she was diagnosed with cancer, but all negotiations failed. Rajab stressed that Sharihan refused to agree to the idea saying that her life’s story is hers alone and she does not wish to expose it to the world.
Rajab added that he had done all the research needed to collect as much information about Sharihan and even was able to convince a production company to finance the film. Sharihan’s refusal to negotiate the matter further put an end to all of the director’s efforts.
Sharihan has returned to Egypt after the medical team in Paris decided that she is experiencing a stable condition and does not need to stay in France anymore. The French doctors said that she can continue her medication without any difficulties in Egypt.
The actress clearly expressed that she refuses to undergo any form of interviews whether for television, radio, or any other form for the media. Sharihan has also refrained from communication with too many people limiting her self to very close friends and family members. The actress revealed that at this point in her life she prefers not to interact with too many people but rather spend her time with her husband and daughter and connecting with God.
