Sharihan undergoes chemotherapy as doctors discover another tumor
French doctors surprised all earlier this week with the announcement of discovering another tumor in the body of the 37-year old Egyptian star Sharihan, but this time in her brain and not her cheek, according to the London-based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Sources close to Sharihan explained that the doctors discovered the tumor after the star wasn't able to close her right eye for a whole day last week. She underwent several x-rays to find out that the tumor they took off her cheek had originally come from the brain.
"Doctors decided to start soon with the chemotherapy to control the ubnormal spreading of the tumor," said one of the sources close to the star.
On October 14, doctors announced that the face of Sharihan would never come back to normal after the 18-hour surgery she made last month in Pitie Salpetriere hospital, in Paris. Her secretary Jamal Anwar assured then that the star's state is still stable, and that doctors are still banning visits to Sharihan to avoid any unexpected side effects.
Last month, Sharihan had suffered from a tumor in her salivary gland, which medical analysis has shown to be a benign.
Born on December 6th 1965, Sharihan Ahmad Abdul Fatah Al Shalakani, one of the well-known Khorshid’s family, showed interest in becoming a professional dancer and an actress at an early age. She studied both ballet and tap dancing besides keeping up with school at the age of 6, and made her movie debut at the age of in "Quita Ala Nar" (Quita On Fire). – Albawaba.com
