Prominent Egyptian actress Sharihan has headed off to London to undergo a number of medical tests and to ensure that her health condition is progressing.
The actress wanted to do the tests before heading off to Saudi Arabia to do Umra (Religious Pilgrimage), which has been a custom for Sharihan.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, sources have revealed that Sharihan has been witnessing significant progress to her health condition and she has been leading a normal life, in addition to the fact that she had been watching different Ramadan programs on television.
One of her favorite programs is the drama “Amakin Fil Kalb” (Places in the Heart) starring Egyptian actor Hisham Salim. Sharihan was so impressed with the work that she send a congratulation message to Salim from her mobile phone praising him for a job well done, adding that she plans on keep watching the episodes of the drama while she is abroad.
Salim on his part immediately sent a thank you message to Sharihan thanking her for the warm gesture and stated that it is an honor for him to have her watch the drama. He added that he wished her a fast recovery and wished her a very happy holiday. Hisham also noted to Sharihan that the drama is a major milestone in his career and he hopes it will be a success.
Sharihan denied circulating rumors that she attempted to commit suicide in a live phone interview with an Egyptian television network.
The actress asserted that she is good health and will stay on course with her cancer treatment.
