Shatha Hasoon opens up her heart

According to the London daily Elaph, the Iraqi artist Shatha Hasoon was interviewed by ‘Elaph’ at her glamorous home in the Al Rabyah area of Lebanon. During the interview Shatha seemed open, honest and very outgoing, discussing various topics that concern her art career and personal life.

 Shatha was a winner on the music talent show “Star Academy.”  Critics claimed that her country of origin helped her success on the show.

Shatha said that she feels a great responsibility as one of the only young Iraqi female singers.

“I feel like I represent Iraqi in every country where I perform,” said Shatha.
Suring the interview Shatha talked about love, being betrayed and not finding the right love yet.

She was bothered when she was accused of filming a seductive video clip for her first song “Rouh” (Go Away), Shatha said.  She was widely criticized by journalists and fans alike.
