Shatha Hasoon receives special treatment from production companies
The young Iraqi artist Shatha Hasoon held concert at the Venissia hotel in Beirut in February with the Khaliji artist Rabeh Saqer. Fans enjoyed Shatha’s performance, especially when she sang her new song “Waed Arqoob”.
President of the leading production company ‘Rotana’, Salem Al Hindi, attended the concert as part of his ongoing effort to include her in the company. Shatha was seen sitting Al Salem Al Hindi’s table while listening to Rabeh Saqer’s performance.
According to the London daily Elaph, Shatha was also seen visiting another music production company, ‘Music Is My Life’. Both companies are courting Shatha, but she has yet to make a decision.
Shatha is one of the select female Iraqi artists that have become popular throughout the Arab world. She plans to enter the Khaliji market to increase young talent there, said Shatha. Meanwhile, her fame is rising in Gulf North African countries.
