Iraqi artist Shatha Hasoon attended the Damascus International Cinema Festival after receiving an invitation for the management committee. Great numbers of artists and stars from various Arab and foreign countries had attended the festival. There was great media and press coverage of the celebration.
According to the London daily Elaph, on a different note, Shatha had accepted an invitation from “Melody FM” radio station in order to have an interview. The interview was live and it lasted for two hours, where Shatha answered questions from fans and sang for them some of her best hits live on air.
As for her music, Shatha will be launching at the beginning of next month a new video clip for her song “Mza’lni” (You Made Me Mad). She had filmed the new video clip in Tripoli in northern Beirut. It is needless to say that Shatha had also received numerous offers to host musical concerts for “Eid Al Adha”.
