Egyptian controversial producer/director Sherif Sabri has denied recent circulating rumors that he intends on marrying Egyptian singer Ruby. Rumors of marriage between the two were created after Sherif bought a new fancy apartment for Ruby in a prestigious neighborhood in Egypt.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, Sherif’s action led people to the conclusion that he plans on marrying Ruby and that he bought her the new apartment as a wedding present. The producer stressed that there are no such plans to marry the singer and that he bought the apartment because as her business manager he feels it is essential that he looks after her properly.
Sherif added that Ruby has been through a lot of hardships in the past and is in dire need of living in a place where she can relax and find peace of mind. Sherif added that the thought of marrying Ruby had never crossed his mind or even hers, stressing that their relationship is based on friendship and mutual respect.
On a different note, Kooky, who is the younger sister of Ruby, has managed to cut a deal with director Ahmad Yusry to direct her first music video. Yusry is known to specialize in producing very seductive music videos and is the one who directed the clips for seductive Tunisian singer Najla.
Kooky had turned to Yusry after director Sharif Sabri refused to cooperate with her due to his preoccupation with Ruby’s career. Kooky managed to create chaos between her and her sister after she refused to listen to Ruby and stay away from the music world.
Ruby had endlessly tried to stop her sister from obtaining a singing career and had tried every method to stop her but failed. Kooky stressed that she will not take her sister’s wishes into account and will do her best to make a name for herself in the entertainment world.
