Director Sherif Sabri denied the existence of a deal between him and director Muhsin Jaber to transfer Egyptian singer Ruby to Alam El-Phan Production Company, adding that it’s a rumor and there is no intention to change Ruby's production company.

Sabri explained that this rumor might have surfaced because some channels get the exclusive rights to broadcast one of Ruby's songs so people think that she signed a contract with that company which is not true.

About Ruby's new album [Ib'a 'abelni] Sabri said that work will start very soon and the clip will be broadcasted exclusively on Infinity music channel directly after Ramadan and is said to be the surprise of the holidays.

According to the London based Elaph, Sabri revealed that he is preparing for his second film which is expected to be released in 2005. Sabri will give the opportunity to new talents in his next movie, like he did in his first one [Saba’ wara'at Kotcheena].

Egyptian lawyer Nabih Al Wahsh has filed a lawsuit against composer Hassan Abu Al Saod, who is president of the Egyptian Musician Association, for permitting Ruby to become a member. Nabih stressed that Hassan’s actions are illegal and go against all the regulations of the association. Nabih has gathered official documentations that prove Ruby’s membership is illegal and will continue in the lawsuit until the membership is stripped from her. –Albawaba.com
