Cry me a river: Sherihan signs off from starring in "Tears of Cinderella"
Sorry to disaapoint, but...it's official. Sherihan will not be coming back to the screen after all. The artist has had enough already of the filming delays for the TV show "Dumoo' Al Cinderella" (Tears of Cinderella) and said peace out to the production. We've been waiting to see the starlet on screen for years now, but it looks it just ain't gonna happen anytime soon.
According to Laha Magazine, the politically active actress was forced to withdraw because it has been taking forever for the writer to finish up the script, meanwhile filming has been postponed more than once.
The long delays have made the Egyptian diva believe that the idea of the drama is no longer suitable atm.
Facebooking her fans about, she wrote, "Forgive me today, I must turn down my participation in the drama permanently, for my withdrawal from the work is not only due to the delay in completing the script, but the fact that the time span for presenting such an idea is no longer valid. The story of the drama was to be complete yesterday and not tomorrow. I tell writer Mohammad Al Hinawi, whom I consider to be a great and wonderful writer and have waited so long to work with him that waiting around has wore me out, and I apologize for being unable to go through with this project."
What will her grand re-entrance into drama then be, we wonder.
