The Voice's most controversial coach, Sherine Abdel Wahab has been stirring up scandal again this week.
On Friday night the Egyptian diva raised eyebrows across the region when her praise for one of the contestants turned into catty criticism of singer Amr Mostafa.
After one of the competitors took to the stage with one of the Egyptian star's most popular songs, the feisty coach said: 'If I was Amr Mostafa, I would not sing this song again.'
Amr's fans were quick to hit out at Sherine for daring to suggest that anyone could sing Amr's tunes better than the man himself.
But Amr is letting his fans do the fighting for him. According to Middle East news portal Elaph, the star has said: 'I will not bother to answer her back: the reaction of my fans and other people on Facebook and Twitter criticizing her inappropriate comments and attitude is enough.'
However, unable to resist one sly snub of his own, the superstar added: 'I am very confident in my artistic and composing capabilities and do not suffer from psychological problems as is the case with others whose jealousy leads them to act in ways that are not professional.'
With Amr refusing to answer the comments directly, if Sherine is in search of her latest celeb spat she might need to look elsewhere.
