Egyptian singer Anoshka who has recently participated along with other Arab singing stars in the operetta Muftarak Al Toroq (Road Junction), wrapped up the shooting of her latest song video Weinak (Where Are You?).
“Wainak written by Mohyi Hawar and composed by Mohammed Azzam, is a show song from the beginning until the end and has been shot at Misr Studio. I received training on the song dances two weeks before shooting it so that it will be well produced and acclaimed by the audience,” Anoshka told Albawaba.com.
Meanwhile Anoshka sees that video clips have recently become nothing but singers with models around them wearing short and indecent clothes and performing unplanned and unstable movements. These models, according to her, just twist their bodies.
“I would like to live normally. I do not like to stand on the stage with restrictions as I quickly interact with cadence. What I perform is not show but rather rhythmic movements that are consistent with the musical tunes,” said Anoshka.
As an actress, Anoshka explained, “I found myself performing in the play Awlad Al Ghadab Wa Al Hob (Sons of Anger and Love) as I go daily and face the audience armed with a good topic and fun. I play my role along with a group whom I love including Ahmed Rateb, Mohammed Nagati, Safaa Galal, Dalia Ibrahim and Laila Ahmed Rateb. My songs in the play were written by Kawthar Mustafa.
