The City of the Media Production in Egypt is currently preparing for shooting five new movies, including a film through which Egyptian singer Hisham Abbas will debut in acting.
“The budgets of the new films were allocated and the shooting will start next month,” the head of the Media Production City, Mamdouh al Laithi, told the London-based daily al Sharq al Awsat.
He added that the first film entitled Ehna wa al Amar Giran (we and the moon are neighbors) was written by Tamer Habib to be directed by Mohammed Abul Saad. Costarring in the film singer Hisham Abbas, Ahmed Helmi, Mai Ezz Eddin and Ola Ghanem.
Director Ali Edris will shoot his film Ela al Faraina (to the Pharaohs) scripted by Ashraf Mohammed and starring Ashraf Abdel Baqi, Hanan Tork, Hassan Hosni, Ezzat Abu Aof and Menna Shalabi.
The third film is Muaskar Hobb (camp of love) scripted by Bilal Fadel, directed by Ali Ragab and starring Amr Waked and Ahmed Zaher. Also director Ahmed Atef will shoot his film Lubet Hazz (game of luck) scripted by Mohammed Bahgat and starring Muna Zaki and Hani Salama. The last film is Kan Fi Marra Bint (once upon a time there was a girl) directed by Mohammed Yasin and starring Hanan Tork and Ahmed Ezz Eddin – Albawaba.com
