Released nearly three months ago, Mohammad Assaf's latest (and self-titled) album is still a hit. After claiming the number one spot on music charts in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Jordan just hours after its initial release last October, fans are still jamming out to the Palestinian golden boy's glorious tunes.
In addition to some of his other popular tracks, Assaf's song "Lawayn Barouh" (Where Will I Go) is a serious fan favorite. The clip on YouTube recently received its third million hit!
Hazim Sharif may be the talent show's latest winner, but there's no doubting the Mohammad Assaf is still our Arab Idol!
According to Al Jaras magazine, Mohammad expressed his happiness at this achievement and the administrator of his official Facebook page wrote, ""Lawayn Barouh" from the album of Assaf has exceeded three million views in the very short time it has been launched on YouTube. Thank you for your support and following of everything that is newly released by artist Mohammad Assaf. With you we continue 442!"
The song is written by poet Ahmad Madi, composed by Ziad Burji, distributed by Naser Al Asaed and the clip was directed by Jack Molder.
