The famous Syrian actress Solaf Fawakhrji is becoming more visible, regarded as one of the best actresses of her generation in Syria.

According to the London daily Elaph, Solaf does not rely on her beauty, proving her abilities in the Egyptian drama.

The last Egyptian drama series that she stared in was “Asmahan,” aired on television last Ramadan season.

Solaf has faced conflicts here her Syrian colleague Jomanah Murad.

Jomanah criticized Solaf and her role in the drama series “Asmahan.”  Jomanah said she was initially offered to play the role of “Asmahan” but she turned it down. When the director Basel Al Khatib nominated Solaf to star in the television drama series “Al Quds” (Jerusalem), Jomanah also said that she had first received the offer.

Solaf said, “I have no time to go into war with Jomanah.”

Solaf is filming the scenes of her latest television drama series called “Akher Ayam Al Hob” (The Last Days of Love). The series is written by Hani Al Sa’di, directed by Solaf’s husband Wael Ramadan and produced by ‘Oscar’ company.

The series also stars Egyptian actor Yaser Jalal, and from Syria Rafiq Sobai’y, Fadi Sbaieh, Amani Wa’li and Faris Al Helo.

Solaf will appear as a guest on the entertainment show “Sharaftoni” (You Are Welcome), presented by Toni Baroud and aired on the Lebanese channel “LBC.”
