The famous Syrian actress Solaf Fawakhrji turned down an offer to star in the new television drama series “Rose Al Yousif,” because she was not convinced by the storyline.
Solaf said that she had always dreamed of playing the role of Rose Al Yousif because of her importance to journalism.
Solaf said that the storyline of the series was only a retelling of events and did not explore the real life of Rose Al Yousif.
“I did not think the role was suitable,” said Solaf.
