British rock star Sting was immortalized Saturday December 10, with a star on Hollywood's famous "Walk of Fame."
The event coincided with the release of the animated movie The Emperor's New Grove, which features a soundtrack by Sting.
Sting's wife, Trudie Styler, and countless Hollywood celebrities took part in the ceremony to unveil the star, which pays tribute to celebrities of the entertainment industry.
"We came here in 1978. I made them stop the bus on Sunset Boulevard. I hugged a palm tree. I had never seen a palm tree before," said Sting reminiscing about his first trip to Hollywood.
"And I could never imagine that now I have a star on the Walk of Fame," he added. – AFP.
