Egyptian comedy star Mohammed Subhi has finished writing the first 20 episodes of his new TV series “Izai Ni’eesh!?” (How Do We Live), and is waiting to finish the other 10 episodes to gear up the series shooting.
Al Akhbar newspaper has reported that the actor promised all audiences that “this series, marking my debut in writing, will not be a direct and boring educational health program, ” refusing to reveal the names of any costar in the series. “Names will be revealed as soon as I finish my writing,” Subhi said.
In the series, directed by Ahmed Badr Addine, Subhi embodies the role of Dr. Bakri Barakat Gynecologist-Obstetrician, who makes a lot of health studies, and one day comes out with the result that humans of the 21century act exactly like Primitive Humans.
Dr. Barakat dedicates his time to explaining his theory, reading all old books of medicine and history. He also states that technology in this time is used wrongly that it’s causing more problems than benefits.
“ ‘Izai Ni’eesh!?’ will not be screened this upcoming fasting month of Ramadan. Audiences will enjoy watching ‘Fares Bila Jawad’ (Knight Without a Horse) this Ramadan,” Subhi said.
In “Fares Bila Jawad”, Subhi plays the role of the Egyptian fighter Hafez Najeeb, who fights against the British occupation. The series goes back to 1850 during the Turkish regime, British occupation and Israeli penetration afterwards and ends with the emergence of the Palestinian crisis.
Subhi said earlier that he would be playing 9 different characters in the series centered on the character Hafez, whose nickname is ‘Al Thaalab’ (The Fox). –Albawaba.com
