Sulafa Memar heads to Egypt

Syrian actor Sulafa Memar has headed off to Egypt to film her scenes in the new Egyptian television drama “Al Khawaja Abdul Qader”, alongside prominent Egyptian actor Yahia Al Fakharani. Scenes are being filmed on location in the deserts of Dahshur Al Jeezah.

Sulafa stars in the drama alongside Yahia, Sawsan Badr, Mahmoud Al Jundi, Salah Abdullah, Abdul Aziz Makhyoun, Ahmad Foad Saleem, Lutfi Labeeb, Maha Abu Ouf and Nabeeha Lutfi. The drama is directed by Shadi Al Fakharani and written by Abdul Raheem Kamal, who is working with Yahia for a second time.

 According to the London based Elaph, Sulafa recently completed filming her scenes in the Syrian drama “Arwah Ariyah” (Naked Souls) produced by the ‘Syrian Television Production Institute,’ the production company ‘Klakeet,’ and the production company ‘Siryana’.

 In the drama, Sulafa plays the role of ‘Ruba’ who is married to the character ‘Samer’ played by Syrian actor Abdul Minem Amayri. Sulafa had filmed her scenes in the drama with Syrian actor Qusi Khouly.

 The drama tackles a number of social issues and is directed by Al Laith Hajo. The script is written by Fadi Qawshaqji.
